While on a drive during sunrise, female lions stalking in the bush led us to this eventual kill. A pride of approximately 12 lions expertly circled, attacked and took down a huge African Buffalo before our eyes. It was an amazing sight to see. The lions pinned down their prey as one suffocated it. At this point, the attention of the lions was directed to two buffalos coming toward them ..... to try to save one of their own. Watchful Hyenas circle nearby for their turn.
