Description

While on safari, this was my first encounter with a leopard in the wild. I thought, at the time, that if I didn't see any other leopards, I would be happy with this capture. But I did see more ... many more .... yet, this is one of my favorite images. This young male leopard - about 1 1/2 years old - was photographed in the Timbavati Nature Reserve, which adjoins Kruger National Park. South Africa.
